My best writing moments was in 4th grade because I would naturally feel motivated and get an adrenaline rush when the teacher would consistently use my writing as an example to other students on how to effectively write. She would also call on me regularly to tutor other students in writing essays. The thing that excited me the most is knowing that my hard work was not going unnoticed. I was a very humble student so it was clearly not an ego thing with me. I took my writing extremely serious in 4th grade because I was passionate about writing and spelling contest. I strongly feel that it enhanced my motivation because feedback is very essential when striving to reach your highest potential in writing. I feel that as a future teacher, I would automatically understand the challenges my students face in writing because I started taking writing seriously at an early age.

 The picture book that I chose to blog about is See Me Run by Paul Meisel because it is an enjoyable book that demonstrates true happiness among some canine dogs. These dogs enjoyed an outing in the park where it was plenty of room to be themselves. This is something that is a major part of every dog happiness. Dogs tend to discover a lot of things when they are running around digging so these brilliant dogs discovered a mother lode of bones. The story basically depicts the true action of dogs loving to run. They run through mud and run into water to get cleaned up. This story was humorous to me when the dogs was digging and found fossil bones which caused the dogs to take off running again. The illustrations in this book is beyond marvelous because children would be able to get a visual on what the dogs may do next. Blog 2 My Friend Rabbit

 The title of my honor book is My Friend Rabbit by Eric Rohmann and he is also the illustrator. The illustrations of this book is interesting because it displays a rabbit and a mouse playing with a toy airplane and it get stuck in a tree. This illustration felt like a reflection of my childhood because I use to play with toy airplanes at Lockhart Elementary School. When I observed the illustrations on this particular book the rabbit appeared to be full of trouble but very smart and spontaneous. The illustrations showed the rabbit randomly coming up with a spontaneous plan to get the airplane out of the tree such as stacking animals on top of one another. The rabbit appeared to be trouble with this plan because it was obvious that the animals was going to fall eventually. The animals was extremely angry with the rabbit when they fell and I noticed the mouse had to immediately come to the rabbit rescue because the other animals was reaching for him out of frustration.
