Blog Post # 5

The first book that I decided to blog about is The Very Bumpy Ride by Michaela Muntean because it is a very funny book that kids was love since they have very good memories riding the school bus. The book has funny pictures and it is primarily about a Rumble Town bus that carried people to the county fair. This story was hilarious because the bus stopped six times on Bumble Street where at every bus stop there was a person carrying something with them to the county fair. It was also animals that were in need for a ride. The bus driver decided to stop and assist a lady with her car by pulling the car behind the bus and everybody else assisted by pushing the bus up the hill. When the bus got up the hill it rolled all the way down the hill with nobody on the vehicle. This turned out to be very devastating because all the things people brought with them to the county fair was scattered everywhere on the bus. This story basically teaches to never ride on a crowdy bus to a county fair and depend on your own judgement of things without constantly being a follower doing what everybody else is doing.

The second book that I decided to blog about is I see a cay by Paul Meisel. I chose this book because it is very adorable and aligned with reality very well. It is a true saying that a man's best friend is a dog and animals just desire to be loved and engage with their owners regardless of how or where it happens. Human acknowledgement and companionship is the main objective of a dog. This was definitely seen in this story when the dog waited at the window all day long for the little boy to come home. The dog was so brilliant and intelligent because he appeared to have an internal alarm clock alerting him that the little boy is close to making it home. I personally feel that this book provides excellent insight into a pet's life and their excitement come when the owners come home providing them the attention that they desire. These two book has similarities because they have repetition that is good for kids that are beginner learners. Repetition is what children need in order to master new skills. It also helps children improve speed in learning, builds confidence and strengthens the connections in the brain that tremendously helps them with their learning. This is definitely what both of these particular books has in common.
